“Most teams assume the model itself will behave. But the real risks come from the prompts and the integration code,” Torres explained. “A chatbot might be well-trained, but a poorly worded system prompt or a missing boundary check can turn it into a liability.”

PromptBrake’s tests simulate adversarial customer inputs and edge cases that are rarely covered in standard quality assurance. The company has been sharing its findings with AI product teams to encourage pre-launch stress testing.
